Nyloil

  • Coefficients of friction, typically half that of other lubricated nylons.
  • A stable, oil impregnated structure with high resistance to water absorption.
  • Hardness, durability and creep resistance comparable with conventional nylons.
  • Free cutting properties, for tighter machining tolerances and smoother finish.

Nyloil Picture

NYLOIL OIL FILLED NYLON
Nyloil has been specifically developed to combine a low coefficient of friction with the stability and durability of conventional nylons. This has been achieved through a unique manufacturing process, which permanently bonds a lubricating oil into the material structure.
Compared with natural and MOS2 filled nylons, Nyloil can withstand high speeds and unit loadings and bearing life can be increased significantly. With its free machining properties and resistance to creep Nyloil could be the economic solution to your bearing problems.

NYLOIL SUPPLY
Nyloil is available in rod, sheet and tube in a range of standard sizes.
Rod - 13mm dia. to 2S0mm dia. in 1 metre lengths.
Sheet - 10mm thick to 80mm thick in 1200mm x 600mm and 1 OOOmm x SOOmm.
Tube - 50mm OD x 30mm ID to 2S0mm OD x 200mm ID.
Custom castings and non standard sizes can also be supplied.
